There is no doubt that young people are the ones who will one day determine the way our world, economy and politics go. We can say that young people are the future. They have an excellent ability to learn and adapt to the environment quickly. The youth can bring social reform and can definitely improve the condition of society. Undoubtedly, we could not do this without the youth of EU. These are the reasons why I personally believe that government and member countries of EU should do the most to support young people.
Nowadays, we can see that European Union offers many opportunities to young people. However, not many people are aware of these opportunities, which is why I think that governments and teachers should try to raise awareness. So that more young people can be included in the programmes which EU offers. This can be done through workshops/presentations or posts on social media.
It is true that EU offers many programs for young people but we cannot deny that there is a significant difference between member countries of EU. Each country offers different opportunities to young people. Some countries do not fully realize the potential and importance of young people. From my point, I think that government should involve the youth in the programs. Redesign the programs and prioritize areas and develop measurable indicators.
Thanks to these changes, I personally believe that young people would feel more involed and empowered.
