Youth Goal #3 – Inclusive Societies

This episode was created by the Italian organization Scambieuropei. Together with Pier Francesco Orsi, an employee of the social cooperative Etabeta from Bologna, we’ll talk about the Youth Goal “Inclusive Societies”.

This goal is defined by the EU as “enabling and ensuring” the inclusion of all young people in society.

But what does it truly mean to create a more inclusive society? Such goal can be reached through many different means: by making people with different economic, religious, cultural and experiential backgrounds at ease in a community and in the society at large.

Inclusion might therefore mean feeling safe and heard on the workplace, at home, in public spaces, but inclusion also means giving tools to people, actively creating opportunities for all to be part of our diverse and ever changing societies. Listen to this episode to get to know Pier and the many actions it takes to build a more inclusive society, day to day.
