Youth Goal #1 – Connecting EU with Youth

This episode was created by the Slovak organization Európsky Dialóg (European Dialogue). For this first episode, we have the chance to host a special guest: Petra Papierníková, founder of the non-governmental organization EduEra.

Based on her experience in the youth sector and her background as a teacher, she provides us with interesting inputs and food for thoughts to better understand the first Youth Goal: “Connect EU with Youth”.

This goal is meant to foster the sense of youth belonging to the European project and more generally, reinforce the connection between the EU and young people.

All along this episode, we will find more about the challenge of “building a bridge” between European institutions and younger generations, and the importance of informing and encouraging young people to get to know more about what types of support and opportunities are provided by the EU.

This podcast series is part of the project “Youth is EU: streaming empowerment and participation”, a project co-financed by the European Union and by the program Erasmus +.
